Negeri Sembilan Deepavali Open House On Thursday

SEREMBAN, Nov 14 (Bernama) -- The Negeri Sembilan state government will hold a Deepavali 2017 open house at the Seremban Municipal Council Hall grounds here on Thursday.

State Human Resource, Plantation and New Village Action Committee chairman Datuk L. Manickam said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and exco members as well as department heads are expected to attend the open house held from 3pm to 6pm.

"Visitors will be entertained by the 1Malaysia cultural dance performance (all races) as well as songs by guest artistes. We expect 5,000 guests to attend the event," he told Bernama here, today.

Manickam, who is also state MIC chairman, said a variety of delicacies and delicious dishes such as rendang, ketupat, lemang, satay, briyani rice, rojak and chapati will be available at the event.
