TM Call Centre Moves To Graha Maju

MELAKA, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- The Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) customer call centre in Banda Kabar has moved to the Graha Maju building to accommodate for the increase in the number of officers and ensure a more efficient service is provided.

TM Group deputy chief executive officer Datuk Bazlan Osman said the centre now housed 380 customer service officers compared to 100 in the previous location.

"We see the need for improvement in the service centre as on an average the Melaka customer call centre receives about 500,000 calls a month," he told reporters after attending the launching ceremony of the centre here today.

The event that was launched by Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron was also attended by Melaka TM general manager Datuk Rozlan Mohamed.

Commenting further, Bazlan said the opening of the new centre which operated for 24 hours could help boost Melaka's economy and provide job opportunities.
