Water Disruption In Jempol And Kuala Pilah From Sept 6-7

SEREMBAN, Sept 5 (Bernama) -- Part of Jempol and Kuala Pilah will experience a 24-hour water supply disruption starting at 8am on Sept 6 until 8am on Sept 7.

Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (SAINS) Public Relations head Norzita Ismail, in a statement, said the temporary water supply disruption would be caused by pipe realignment and cleaning work at the Taisho balancing pond.

She said in Jempol, the areas that would be affected were the housing areas and villages at Jalan Bahau-Batu Kikir, Taman Satelite, Taman Tunku Puan Chik, Kampung Lonek, Kampung Bukit Kelulut, Jalan Batu Kikir-Simpang Pertang, Kampung Serting Tengah, Rumah Rakyat Serting Tengah, Taman Serting Jaya and Taman Desa Permai Serting Tengah.

Meanwhile, in Kuala Pilah, the affected areas are Kampung Terentang, Kampung Sungai Talan, Padang Lebar, Kampung Jerjak Seberang, Pasir Ambor, Juasseh Tengah, Kampung Ghalib, Sungai Jelutong and Kampung Majau.

The repair works were among SAINS'continuous efforts to improve the water quality for the benefit of its customers.

The water supply would resume after the stipulated period in stages, but several areas in high locations are expected to experience a longer repair work period,? she added.
