Perlis Traders Praised For Complying With KPDNKK Regulations

KANGAR, June 19 (Bernama) -- Perlis recorded only 16 cases of traders who violated the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011, according to the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry (KPDNKK).

State KPDNKK director Khairul Amin Talib said today that the culprits were imposed compounds amounting to RM1,750.00, while fines totalling RM8,000 were collected between January and June this year.

Meanwhile, Perlis Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism chairman Asmaiza Ahmad told reporters after launching the state Aidilfitri Price Control Scheme 2017 at Pasar Besar Sena, Kangar, that most traders in the state had complied with KPDNKK regulations and deserved praise.
